Your first visit

No surprises, just four calm steps

Knowing what happens next makes a real difference. Here's how a first appointment usually goes.

  1. Say hello

Tell us what's on your mind, including any worries, before anyone reaches for an instrument.

  2. Gentle exam

We check teeth, gums and bite, taking images only when they're genuinely useful.

  3. Talk it through

You'll see what we found, hear your options and get honest guidance on costs.

  4. Plan together

Nothing is booked until you're comfortable. You leave with a clear, written next step.

Questions

Before you book

Quick answers to the things people most often ask us.

I get very anxious about the dentist. Can you help?

Absolutely. Mention it in your request and we'll allow extra time, explain each step before it happens and agree a stop signal. Many visitors start with a simple chat-only first appointment.

Do you see children?

Yes. We welcome children of all ages and keep early visits short, friendly and focused on building confidence. Families can often book back-to-back appointments.

What should I do if I'm in pain?

Choose "Urgent visit" in the form and describe what's happening. Urgent requests are reviewed first. If you have severe swelling or difficulty breathing, seek emergency medical care immediately.

How much will treatment cost?

Costs depend on what each person needs, so we give you a clear written estimate after your exam. You'll always know the fee before treatment begins.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

A list of any medications you take, details of recent dental work if you have them, and any questions. We'll handle the rest together.
